Character post III
Grayson
Grayson is a main character in the second part of the book. Grayson took care of Maniac Magee when he found him in the buffalo cage. Grayson let Maniac Magee the baseball room for a place to live. He also gave Maniac Magee many thing while he lived in the baseball room. After a while Grayson lived in the baseball room with Maniac Magee. They even had a Thanksgiving and Christmas meal together, and they decorated the room for Christmas. Grayson also showed Maniac Magee his famous stop ball, but in the end Grayson died.

Theme Post II
I think one of the main themes for Maniac Magee would be taking care of yourself. I think that is a theme because when Grayson gave Maniac money he bought books to teach himself. So he knew how to take care of himself and teach himself many things like how to prove is a triangle is isolated or not. He also took care of himself when he ran away from his aunty and uncle.

Charecter post II
Amanda
Amanda has two younger siblings, Hester who is three years old and Lester who is four years old. Amanda likes to read books and her favorite book is the Encyclopedia A. Amanda trusts Jeffery Magee a lot. Amanda cried when Encyclopedia A got ripped up at the celebration of cobble's knot. Amanda thinks her brother and sister is annoying because they color in her books. Amanda really cares about Maniac Magee. It shows that when she yells at him for leaving. Amanda and her family live on the west end.
